Greasing the track while I look for some wheels for O’Brien’s Literary Speculator
I, have just began reading a story, in All Story, the Zoetrope magazine, told by a man who has been struck by lightening and should be dead because he has loss all of his skin. All his clothing and personal property except for the wooden handle of his umbrella has been turned to ash and washed away in the rain. I need to finish the story today I have to find out what happens.
I, of course am waiting now for stories to start pouring in like a San Bernardino flash flood, yet I am hoping that nothing quite so electrifying strikes O’Brien’s Literary Speculator. Though I do know their writing will send tingles down the spine.
Today I begin emailing the mass requests for writing, editors, and subscribers. Remember that your writing will be paid for if we publish it.
Writing will be accepted until October 25, 2007 so that we can publish by November 15.
